RAYMOND BENZINGER: The firm handles the full array of family law cases. And the main goal in a family law case should be a peaceful resolution and ultimately stability of the family unit under new and different circumstances, but always aimed at the best interests of the children involved.

The client needs to know what the risks are and what is--what needs to be fought over and what needs to be resolved without fighting. Of course, I like to stay out of trials because settling the cases is much more efficient and generally is more pleasing to the client. It's less expensive and less stressful.

We believe that clients come to us because of our vast experience, nearly four decades of legal experience, three in this area, and our empathetic approach to their problems. We really try to resolve the case without resorting to--unduly to the courtroom. Of course, if we're required to do so, we'll fight for them.
